Our unique partnership of design, technical know-how and research expertise ensures that you have the best all-round knowledge available for your project.
FabResearch is a primary partner and supplier of Market Research within Quatrosystem, an organisation set up to provide Procurement and IT services to both the commercial and public sector. Pauline Foster is the director of public consultation and Market Research in this group. QS is part of buying solutions, which means that Public Sector Clients can contract for our services without need for further competition. This saves cost, effort and time on both sides, and means we can focus immediately on your project. Currently the QS frameworks cover Marketing, Communications, Market Research, Learning & Development (Procurement) and E-Learning. (These frameworks were previously known as S-CAT or Catalist - in 2007 we were fortunate to be one of only eight firms to have been selected from more than 380 applicants for the UK government’s ‘Catalist’ shortlist of suppliers in the marketing and MR consultancy category and in February 2009 we won a new catalist framework for work for Learning and Development).
We like to get involved, we love giving advice, and are responsive to your needs and requirements - we aim to be an extension of your team for the duration of the project.
Pauline’s passion is finding out what motivates people to make the decisions they do and with a background in psychology she enjoys using cognitive models to add a deeper qualitative dimension to her work. She has a background as a consumer psychologist and researcher with a specialist interest in olfaction (the sense of smell). Pauline works within both the public and private sectors with clients from blue-chip companies, local government and the nhs to name a few. She also lectures and runs courses in both qualitative (focus group moderation & techniques), quantitative research and statistical analysis.
Pauline is a full member of the AQR (Association of Qualitative researchers), a committee member of the SCS (Society of Cosmetic Scientists), and a full member of SCP (Society of Consumer Psychologists) and ESN (European Sensory Network).
Elaine has long experience of software development and data management.
"My main concern is to create software that is easy to use and a pleasure to navigate while at the same time giving you the information you need to do your job, to set policy or to make a difference to someone's life.
Creative design and clear structure can make a huge difference to how you and your customers experience the web. We do our best to achieve both."
Elaine is a member of The Chartered Institute for IT and LARIA (with Pauline Foster)
